Used in Simplified Optical Ethernet solution to make distribution nodes passive and provide exclusive Gigabit/10G bandwidth for Fiber-to-The-Room (FTTR)
Description
- The 8-port 16-wavelength combiner innovatively adopts the colored optical technology and is used in combination with core or access switches equipped with pluggable colored optical transceivers.
- The dual-slot design provides 24 ports for device access per slot and a maximum of 48 ports for device access at full load. The device uses six WDM optical fibers for output.
- The passive network design supports direct replacement of distribution switches without requirement for O&M of ELV rooms.
- Exclusive Gigabit/10G fiber to the room is supported and the bandwidth can be upgraded easily. Transparent distribution devices can be retained during the upgrade.
- Multiple installation modes are available for selection.
